The key features helping to improve picture performance are the addition of a Full HD Ready 1080p LCD display and 100Hz Motion Picture Pro 2 technologies.

Motion picture Pro 2 technology increases the number of frames from 50 frames /sec to 100 frames /sec. This reduces blurring and produces much smoother and sharper images particularly where the pictures are fast moving scenes making it ideal for viewing action movies, sporting events and video games.

More pixels equals more resolution and the TX-37LZD85 37 LCD has a resolution of 1920 x 1080p. The resolution is the main reason why high-definition looks better. Your 37 inch LCD Full HD television will deliver incredible clarity and detail so movie and gaming fans with Blu-ray and other HD DVD players will get to experience the full potential of their High Definition sources.

Adding to the visual excellence of this latest model from Panasonic is a 10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio creating images with vibrant colours and excellent detail. The improved panel contrast combined with the” Intelligent Scene Controller” technology gives a much richer black with darks scenes more defined which makes fantastic viewing of science fiction films.

The viewing angle with this 37 LCD is a wide 178 degrees with IPS Alpha Full HD Panel ensuring that the picture is crisp and clear no matter where you are sitting in the living room. Other features include an SDHC compatible memory card slot. This way you can enjoy a slide show of your favourite digital photographs and show them to friends and family in comfort.

As well as the superb picture quality the TX-37LZD85 features smart networking with VIERA link. This system allows you to control your other connected AV Panasonic devices using only the VIERA TV’s remote control unit. Audio on this TV uses V-Audio Surround, BBE ViVA HD3D sound. This sound enhancing technology makes it possible to produce a virtual 5.1-channel surround effect with just the two speakers transforming your living room into a live concert hall or home cinema. The audio output from the 1 way 2 speaker system on this model is 10W x 10W and there is also a sound mode option (Music/Speech).
