Panasonic’s successor to the TX-37LZD70 is the TX-37LZD80 a widescreen Full HD 37 LCD TV with Integrated Digital Tuner and Intelligent Scene Controller. The Panasonic VIERA TX-37LZD80 crams the full 1920 x 1080 pixels in meaning you get to experience your favourite movies, sporting events and video gaming in superb Full HD quality on a 37 LCD display.

Being Full HD 1080p means the image is going to be that much sharper and more detailed bringing movies and gaming images to life on your screen. Also the wide 178 degree viewing angle with IPS Alpha Full HD Panel ensures crisp, clear images regardless of the viewing angle meaning everyone gets to see great high quality pictures.

LCD TVs with their bright screens can make your eyes tired but with Panasonic LCDs this isn’t a problem. The TX-37LZD80 uses the latest visual enhancement technology to optimise the brightness, contrast, colour, sharpness, and white balance – reducing unnecessary brightness. Features include sub pixel control, picture overscan, progressive scan and x.v Colour.

As well as the 1920 x 1080p resolution this 37 LCD boasts a 10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for greater image depth for deep black levels and a brighter white level, 24p Playback to support 1080p, 24 frames per second source materials, a wide colour spaces, Intelligent Scene Controller and 3D Colour Management.

VIERA LCD TVs benefit from VIERA Link which simplifies control of your HDMI connected AV components by allowing you to control them all using only the VIERA TVs remote control. There is also an SD card slot allowing you to view your digital photographs on the TV and share them in comfort with family and friends.

Advanced sound quality on the TX-37LZD80 is provided by V-Audio surround and BBE ViVA HD3D sound which provides musically accurate 3D sound. These sound enhancing technologies makes it possible to produce a virtual 5.1-channel surround effect with just the two speakers transforming your living room into a live concert hall or home cinema. There is also a Sound Status Mode to select to get the best possible sound depending on what is being displayed at the time.

Connectivity
With all technology gradually moving towards HD it is important to have enough connections for your HD equipment; from laptops, camcorders, game consoles to disc players and satellite dish boxes. You’ll find plenty of room to add your external equipment with the Panasonic TX-37LZD80 37 LCD TV it has 3 x HDMI (v1.3) inputs (2 rear, 1 side) as well as component video, 2 scart sockets, PC input, S-Video and Headphone.
