L37X01 37 inch Hitachi LCD TV

Hitachi present next generation television with the Hitachi X Series. The L37X01 37 LCD uses the latest technology to display images with cinema-quality colour, optimum HD viewing through 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and removal of motion judder. The L37X01 also features Hitachi's IPS (In Plane Switching) technology which allows you to watch a natural picture from a wide viewing angle in comfort. This means you see still see a great picture even viewing at angle up to 178 degrees.

The L37X01 boasts a dynamic contrast of 8000:1 a typical Panel Brightness of 530cd/m2. It uses Movie FRC Hitachi's proprietary frame rate conversion technology to reduce image judder during action scenes and horizontal panning. Movie FRC creates additional frames and plugs them in to the image to smooth out the picture with both standard and high definition content.

The L37X01 also uses Hitachi's image processing technology Picture Master FHD. With its 16-bit picture processing and 3D colour management it is optimised for high definition. Combine this with its advanced digital clear technology and twin dynamic enhancer for optimal reproduction of shiny surfaces, and you get impressive life-like images.

Audio on this 37 LCD TV is 20 watts RMS output with BBE sound improvement technology that eliminates distortion, SRS for the surround effect, TRUBASS technology for powerful bass and FOCUS for incredibly realistic sound from the centre of the screen.

Connectivity on this 37 LCD includes 3 x HDMI inputs (1 at the side and 2 at the rear), 3 scart sockets, Component video, S-VHS Video, Composite Video, Video Line Out and SD card reader and USB socket for view digital images.

Other features include a motorised swivel stand, Teletext (2000 pages), Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) now next/7 day, programme reminder and event timer and Multi language subtitle decoding and display.
