The 37LY95 is a 1920 x 1080 pixel Full HD Ready 37" LCD TV with the XD Engine™ image processor technology. The 37LY95 comes in an elegant piano gloss black finish with gloss speakers for a stylish 37 LCD TV suitable for any lounge, games room, office reception or exercise room.
The LG 37LY95 has advanced HD ready 1080p XD Engine delivering a host of advanced technical features. These include one to one pixel matching, dimming contrast control, advanced vivid colour, intelligent edge control and distinct noise reduction. Together these combine to give the 37LY95 37 LCD TV excellent image quality to bring you closer to reality.
The 37LY95 also has an integrated digital Freeview tuner making it ready for the digital switch-over. This technology provides over 40 Freeview channels built in to the TV and an 8 day TV guide. These include Entertainment channels like BBC 1, 2, 3 and 4, ITV channels, SKY three, Virgin and UKTV History. There are children's channels such as cbbc, CBeebies and CITV. You also get the best news channels like Sky news, Sky sports news and BBC News. Finally you get some great Lifestyle Channels such as QVC, price-drop tv and bid tv.
The 37LY95 has a 16:9 aspect ratio and 37 LCD display screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The TV has features Dynamic black stretch delivering a dynamic contrast of 5000:1 that enhances the level of black tone colours.
There is 10W + 10W audio output on the 37LY95 and 2 Way 4 Speaker speaker system. Surround MAX is used to create a 3-Dimensional enhanced sound effect by concentrating on the sounds from each left and right channel. This system also works to give mono sound a special feel.
Special features on the LG 37LY95 include an Electronic Programme Guide, Quick view, Parenteal Control, Child Lock Sub Tile and SimpLink.
Other features on this impressive 37 LCD TV include Intelligent Eye technology that improves the perceived picture detail, contrast and colour. It does this by measuring the ambient light in the current viewing environment and then automatically adjusts the contrast, brightness, sharpness and colour to give you the best viewing experience for the conditions whilst also conserving power consumption too.
Connectivity with other AV and HDMI devices is supported with the usual inputs including 2 x HDMI inputs, 2 x Scart connectors, AV In, S-video In, Digital Audio Out and PC Input. Two HDMI inputs allow you to easily connect your other HD devices such as Sony PlayStation 3, Blu-ray DVD player, Sky HD box, or other high-definition sources.
